The mission of La Leche League is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.
La Leche League is a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing support, encouragement, information, and education to women who want to breastfeed.
This information is on topics of interest to parents of breastfed children. It is general in nature and may not be pertinent to your family. It is not intended to be advice, medical or otherwise.
